aaron hern is celebrating his 12th birthday. aaron hearn is back in the bay area he came back yesterday afternoon. his mother and father says he is tired but extremely happy to be back home. the family was in boston because katharine the mother was running the marathon and aaron, the dad and sister were there to cheer on when the bomb off. catherine says going forward she is concerned about the long road of recovery. >> this is one of the harder things to deal with. every day we realize how lucky we are and how much worse it could have been at it wasn't that much worse for some. >> he was right next to the little boy who died. the little boy and his sister. yes. he saw all that and he knew. >> the community in martinez held several fund raises will the family to help them out with the medical bills. you can see them holding a banner saying local home aaron. the family wanted everyone to know they are incredibly grateful for everything that everyone has done for them. >> 837 . we will be back with more in a couple of minutes. a l
